Billing FAQ
No fine print.
What counts as one episode?
One audio file up to 3 hours and 50 MB, with every output generated for it. A 20-minute episode and a 2-hour episode both cost one credit. Longer files are rejected before anything is charged.
Is regenerating or editing extra?
No. Regenerating a section, using the quick actions (shorter, more casual, more formal), editing the transcript and re-running the outputs are all included with the episode.
Do unused episodes roll over?
Yes. Unused monthly episodes roll over to the next month and pay-as-you-go credits never expire. Nothing on this page has an expiry date.
What if an episode fails to process?
The credit is refunded automatically and you'll see the reason in plain words with a retry button. You never pay for a failed job.
Can I pause or cancel?
Both are one click in Billing. Pausing stops charges and keeps your shows, voice profiles, history and credits; plan features like publishing and automatic RSS processing come back when you resume. Cancelling stops renewal at the end of the period, and episodes you've already paid for stay yours.
Can I mix a plan with episode packs?
Yes. If you run out of monthly episodes, buy a pack at $9 per episode. Those credits never expire either.
Which payment methods do you take?
Cards and the other methods Stripe supports in your country. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
